The Comment feature enables partners to comment items directly in Product-Live, instead of using emails. That enables them to get access to all discussions directly from the concerned product, whoever has participated in the conversation.
The comment history limits the timespan during which users can access to comments. That limit is set in days (to the nearest second), by account. By default it is set to 90 days.
The feature toggle, in App interface, hides comments that are older than the comment history limit on the user account and display an information message.
The link displayed enables users to contact the Product-Live team (contact@product-live.com) with a pre-filled email to request a comment history limit raise.
The feature toggle has no impact on the comment status icon displayed on the item line. If there are opened comment older than the comment history limit, the status will be blue even if users cannot consult the comment.
